Best wireless unit??

I've been using a Senheiser, but have been having some problems with it lately. It keeps farting out on me.

Anyway, just wanted everyone's opinions (positive and negative) on different wireless units.
THanks.

1) Which Sennheiser, I've been looking at an EW172 system.
2) Wireless threads belong in misc. I'll move it for ya.

That is on my list for NAMM. I'll be back with a full report next Thursday.

i've been wanting a wireless unit myself. i have a elcheapo AT unit and it really cuts out on the lower end of my bass. i've been looking at the Samson bass bug and wondered if any of you had any luck/misfortune with this unit.

My favorite analog unit is, like Munji, the Shure ULXS unit. My favorite digital unit is the X Wire. I recently acquired the X Wire (and have owned the ULXS for some time), and I hope to do a real world shootout with them sometime soon.

In individual (not head to head) use, both have worked flawlessly, and sound fantastic.

I've been using a Telex VHF for about 12 years now,
and although I've sent it in for minor repairs a couple
of times, it's held up great. Never had any interference
with it at all. That surprised me, playing in casinos, and
at outdoor shows, I thought I'd run into trouble SOMEWHERE,
but it just hasn't happened yet. Telex has great service, and
the price was great. I'm sure their newer units are just as
reliable and effective.

I use this

http://www.musiciansfriend.com/srs7/...se_pid/270244/

And I can't say I have any complaints with it. Doesn't affect my sound, runs a good distance, and battery life is great.

I have been using sennheiser evoltion series (not sure of the number, I am at work), for about 4 years now. I play out at least twice a week in all kinds of situations. I have had zero problems with it.

What kind of problems are you having?
