Bid on "new seller" item?

Sign in to disble this ad
I saw a mixer on Ebay that may be worth getting. Only problem: the seller is brand new, and has no other items for sale. No picture either, though description sounds okay. It is here in the US, within driving distance...

Worth bidding? Pass? I posted a question asking if I could pick up and pay in person, but haven't heard back yet.

Nobody else has bid yet, with a day to go.

Yep, but the lack of a picture has me a little concerned.

I noticed in his ID history:he's been a member since 2002. But no completed transactions so no feedback. Maybe I'll take a chance, it's not too expensive... if nobody else bids

If he doesn't reply to the e-mail, I wouldn't bid. Good communication is a feedback point on eBay.

Yup, no reply should equal no bid. If he replies witha good level of detail, and what you actually want, then he's probably legit.
