OK guys this guy just purchased my 400+ head for $1220.00 CAD and is having issues with PayPal. We agreed on payment via e-check. So I sent a request and he paid the same day. I am waiting the required time for it to clear. But he has been seriously over charged. Anyone seen this happen before??
Read: 400+ ...for some reason paypal has transferred the full 1220 out of my account as of nov 27 as well as the 900 that i transferred in to add to the balance of 383 that i had to cover the sale....we spoke on the phone and the transaction was to take 6/8 business days...... paypal has debited me 2120 for the same1200 transaction and are telling me that your us bank sent a demand for immediate payment via e check instead.....this is going to cost me a pile and just to get my own money back from paypal a 6/10 day wait.....my bank will charge me for not maintaining my minimum balance because of the extra withdrawal.....the only deposit to paypal should have been 900 and in 6 /8 bus days you would have had your cash....now i gotta pay all these fees ...i have never had problems like this before.....pls contact me asap
Some advice for my com padre would be greatly appreciated!
Thanks.. |

If Paypal made a mistake, then he needs to identify what they did and contact their customer service ASAP to get them to fix the situation. |

That system has got some serious issues.. Sure hope you can get this problem resolved and both parties happy with the original deal.. sorry to hear about the screw-up. |

He has no recourse.
I would refund his overpayment and paypal will automatically correct the fees.
This could also be a "I used someone elses bank account" scam and he is looking to have the Paypal put back into his account once it clears.
Be careful. |

I would not be refunding anything until everything had cleared.
If it does, and he's legit of course refund the difference.

I can't touch it until he gets the issue solved with PayPal. Quote:

That way I can make sure he is not running a scam. Quote:

three or four days later i checked my bank balance and pp had taken another 1200 bux out to cover the same sale..........the seller got his cash last week and i am waiting for the amp etc to arrive.....i may not have any fb here but my ebay is 100%pos and anyone wants to check its "buckandotis".....
.and the initial deposit i made was cleared thru pp well before the second one that pp took, and after several emails w/ pp i got my money back........by doing what they did pp made the seller wait longer than necessary......ironically it was me that insisted on pp; as i was hesitant to send that much cash any other way..... |

Where are you getting your info from?? That's the same as saying "I'll never use such and such amp because I heard their tone sucks. I've never tried one, though..." As far as the "serious issues" thing goes, you know this how? |

There are literally THOUSANDS of stories like this one and many that are far, far worse.
