The biggest bass shop in the world?

Does anyone know what the biggest bass guitar shop in the world is, or the guitar shop with the biggest bass selection in the world? Also, what's the biggest in Europe?

It's probably not the biggest in the world, but I'd bet that Chicago Music Exchange comes close to having one of the largest selections of basses.

Biggest bass only store? BassNW is pretty cool, although I admit I haven't been there in years www.bassnw.com

BassNW is almost empty these days- it's really sad. In it's heyday, they were probably top two.

I'm betting nobody is topping Bass Central on sheer volume these days.

I would say in Europe it could well be Thomanns in Germany.
Based purely on the pics on their website and choice of gear.

Chicago Music Exchange has some ridiculous floorspace. Haven't been there in a year or so but last time I was it still had a ton of open space in addition to those walls of gear. That place looks more like an art gallery than a store.

Only problem with it though is the couple times I've been there its all Vintage pricey stuff with new pricey stuff. Very little selection in the 500-900 range. (of course for that range you go to Midwest Buy & Sell but thats not a big store).

I have been to both. Chicago Music Exchange has a lot more floor space for displays. But BassCentral has way more selection.

Whats happened to BassNW? I remember when they used to have a lot more basses, looking at their site now, there isn't a whole lot.

At least everything still has a real sleek feel!

Thomann is only a cyberstore I think. Musicstore professional in Cologne is a pretty big shop and so is Musik Produktiv near Osnabrück. Can't tell which one's bigger since it's been a while I've been to Os.

Well it looks like a store to me.
Maybe your getting confused with the Cyberstore side which is of course mail order.
Have a look on thier site and you will see lots of pics of the store.
