Absolutely awesome. Thanks for that.

Cobham is one of my favourite drummers. I first saw him live in 1979 with John McLaughlin, Stu Goldberg and Jack Bruce - what a lineup!

Is that recent? He still looks like he could rip out tree stumps barehanded.

I saw Cobham for the second time 27 years after the first (see above), in 2006 with a Cuban band in Stratford-Upon-Avon, of all places. He looked a little older to me on that gig then he does in the video. I would guess it's reasonably recent though - like, this century. And yes, he's a chunky fella.

Boy, Billy still has it. Easily one of my top 5 favorite drummers. I really like the material he did with George Duke, Alphonso Johnson and John Scofield. Here's some old Montreux footage of that lineup.

I saw him up close and personal at a drum clinic. Absolutely amazing.

I saw him live in Camden town about 10 years ago at the Jazz Cafe.

Best live set ever! He played with a bassist and keyboard player and I've never heard anything like it that close to my ears.
