Hilarious name aside, this is going to be hot -
The Dead Kenny G's are Brian Haas (pianos), Mike Dillon (percussion) and Skerik (horns)...as if that wasn't enough by itself...they're opening for Jacob Fred for like a week straight!!!

Yeah... I was just going to say that is one of the funniest band names ever.

P.S. I love that "Stop Making Sense" quote in your sig. It's incredibly true.

These guys are nuts: I'm listening to the "Thelonious Monk was my grandma" or whatever track. Very very very... very cool.

These guys freak most people out the first time they hear it. An acquired taste for sure, but it really floats my boat. So original it hurts, and the song titles are outrageous. Matt you've got to download a video - you've got to see them play to believe it! They used to have a rule that if somebody in the crowd shouted out a song title before they could come up with one that they had to play it - they're super down to earth guys that like to smoke the herbals - may the Fred be with you...
