Black black Strats...Pickgaurd colors? Add your pictures!

Hey there TB, I play a little bit of guitar along with bass playing and I have an epiphone acoustic guitar and and a squier fat strat. The strat was my brothers guitar, he was a lefty but got the guitar thinking he'd be able to teach himself to play reversed and then he left for college and kind of just left it behind and he said I could have it.

Its a black body, matching painted headstock, and a Mirror pickgaurd.

I FRIGGIN HATE THE PICKGAURD!!! it collects dust in a weird way and has all these nasty surface imperfections from just sitting in a bedroom corner for a few years.

I was wondering what color would look nicest with it? I am going to definatley be replacing the PG.

I am not going to consider white, because that is just to played out for me.

I am possibly considering that nice red/brown tort. pickgaurd, and I am also considering 3 ply black. ( I love the way the white layer accentuates the black, it really makes it pop)

Please send me some picks of your black strat! I love em, even if they do have white PG's lol

Oh, black Fender basses do count too!

I'm looking for a large pallete of pickgaurds to choose from, thanks!
