My best guess is there will be a few really good deals, probably on stuff they're overstocked on and maybe some OK deals on the rest. Unlike department stores there is less advantage to them having loss leaders. Depending on how bad sales have been the last few months there may be some better deals on used equipment in the stores. It shouldn't affect Craigslist etc. prices much, though there may be some deals from people trying to raise cash for Xmas. So the answer to your question is if you see a good deal go for it, if not and you can wait, then wait. If you're looking for stuff not normally discounted, it probably won't make much difference
