Black Sabbath-Evil Woman vs Deep Purple-Black Night

Ok, I was listening to Sabbath a minute ago, and Evil Woman sounds an awful lot like Black Night by Deep Purple, or is it the other way around? SO, who stole from who?

I know the Sabbah tune pretty well, but I'm not familiar with the Deep Purple song. I'll have to listen to it.

This is a pretty pointless post, I just found it interesting.

i haven't heard the BS song, but i have heard the DP song, and they were both written in the early 70's, and i would actually say that they probably both got it from somewhere else...that opening riff sounds very generic, and the verses sound pretty generic as well...
