they are too old, i'm sorry.
They aren't relevant anymore.
I LOVE LOVE LOVE Black Sabbath. The first 6 original albums are absolutely classic, and are some of my all-time favorite albums EVER.
But they are SO far past their prime that it's just embarrassing now. Hell, it was embarrassing 10 years ago when they began reunion touring with Ozzfest. To go see a bunch of 60+ year olds playing young mens music isn't entertaining to me. Some of the members must need money bad or something. |

You can't tell me that Black Sabbath play with the same amount of energy and gusto as they did when they were in their mid-20s. I've seen them, they don't.
I wasn't trying to be Politically Correct, I have nothing against older people so DON'T EVEN TRY TO PUT THOSE WORDS IN MY MOUTH. |

| | | | Coming from a point of someone who doesn't really like metal I do enjoy the early sabbath (sabbath-sabbath bloody sabbath). If ticket prices were reasonable I would be interested in checking this out.

On the strength of the writing on The Devil You Know and Ozzy's voice on the last album he did, I think this'll be a stonking album.

Not to bash Sabbath, but they've already made their dough.
Go help the youngsters gas up the van.

No Bonham = no Led Zep.

| | | OK...still, someone needs to bang on the cans.
There are some very good videos of Zeppelin in their heyday out there.
Some are commercially-available.
I recall seeing some quality early B&W footage from Denmark (IIRC) on youtube.
Not as intense an experience as actually being there...I know.
