Blister Advice...

Sign in to disble this ad
OK So I started about 4 weeks ago on the Bass and I have a big ole blister on my right-hand middle finger. For about the past week I've still been using it, no pain really.

I'm bringing this up cause I'm sure other people here have had similar problems. Should I stop and let it heal? Keep going as is? Pop it? This might seem odd, but I'm just curious if people have an opinion or experiacne with the matter.

Any help would be appreciated.

dont pop it if it does pop put a bandage, or superglue,or some kind of tape on the wound. if you pop it there will be pain and quite possibly blood. put a bandaid, or tape over the blister it will give a barrier to prevent it from popping and the blister will become a callus

Best thing to do would be to let it heal.

As has been said, DO NOT POP IT. It will just come off and be very sore. If it heals correctly you will end up with a callous and it should never blister again.

Reduce your time spent practicing till it has healed or work on your pick technique (less stress on the blister).
