Blown away by the Dregs

Sign in to disble this ad
After seeing the Dave Larue clinic at BC, Orlando, I wanted to see the Dixie Dregs live.
Saw them last night (my first time) In Jacksonville.
I am completely blown away, everyone played great individually and as a unit. If anyone gets a chance to see these guys, do yourself a favor, go to a show

Gard,
That was my plan A, but i'm playing at church, that's why I went last night.
The venue was the Freebird Cafe, nice place, pretty intimate, it wasn't anwhere near filled to it's capacity.

and Have a good trip.

Saw them there a few years ago, I love that venue, and they definitely rocked the house that night. I'd expect no less from them now!

Cool pics. I wish I had not seen them. I just noticed I have a slight bald spot on the back of my mellon.

Dave's a monster player, and he's funny as heck, too.

That's rough Cass, that is where my hair was about two months ago! JK, I was a long-haired skinny kid until I got fat bald and old.

I've been told I have a bald spot back there for years now. I've just never seen it. My dad's pretty bald, and was at my age, so I think I'm safe. *breathes again*

Way ahead of ya, fella. The Dregs have been on my short list of "must see" acts since I first saw them in 1980 (yeah, I'm dating myself).

I'll be at this show. Can't wait!

Hey, I go back a little before that even. First heard of them in 1978 and first saw them later the next year in Tallahassee FL at FSU...on HALLOWEEN NIGHT!!! oohhhh yeahhh.

And I carry with me a little bit of trivia from that show...The question would be - How did the tune "Punk Sandwich" get it's name?
