Are you sure? These guys make low/mid end car subs and what-not. As to a blown speaker, it sounds like the cone itself is buzzing. Even with the volume very low, if you play a note and it sounds like something is buzzing (or not a clear note) then something is wrong. Another way is to remove the grill from the speaker and VERY GENTLY give the cone a slight push. You should feel no resistance in the movement of the cone. If you hear/feel a rubbing sound, then bad news...
