Blown Stereo Amp

Sign in to disble this ad
I was playing my stereo yesterday and the right channel just stopped working.

It was loud but not ridiculously, I've had it louder. There was no bang or anything and the amp was not very hot. I did notice that my flatmate had cranked the bass right up.

What do you think has happened and can I fix it?

Cheers.

It may have blown a fuse. Unplug the unit, open it up and check the fuses. The fuse holder may also be on the rear panel.
