Blues recommendations ?

Sign in to disble this ad
Wassup guys?
I just started teaching my little sis the whole blues concept, and I'm short of examples, I need the names of all of the classic songs, with or without singing, for all of the basic Blues...
I wanna explain her the whole 12 bar idea, with the "question-answer" parts when soloing in the blues and all...

so I need some 12 bar blues songs, where you can hear the "rules" of the blues taking action, if you guys can also give some details on your reccomendations, like "listen to the guitar solo from 2:12 till 2:20 you can hear the question-question-answer proggresion", that would be great

thanks dudes

Google any of the following:
Chicago Blues Buddy Guy, Muddy Waters, Magic Sam, Howlin Wolf
Texas Blues - Stevie Ray Vaughan, Freddy King, Albert Collins, Fabulous Thunderbirds
Other Essential Blues - Albert King (Rules!), BB King, T Bone Walker, Elmore James

Try the TB Google search....it works wonders.
