Bob Dylan---"Hurricane"

Can anyone tell me what this song is about? I love the song to death, and I've figured out that it's about someone (I think a boxer?) who was wrongly accused of a crime. I don't know the whole story though, and I'd like to have a better understanding of it since I love the song so much.

I don't remember the person's actual name, but there was a movie about it a few years ago, I believe it was also called "Hurricane". It will probably give you some more information.

Good song...my band in high school did a version...a lot of lyrics to remember though!

Short version AFAIK, Ruben "Hurricane" Carter was a boxer who was unjustly imprisoned in the 1960s for murders he did not commit and was released 20 something years later.

Denzel Washington starred in the recent movie, called "Hurricane".

Carter also wrote a book I believe (maybe someone wrote one about him) and that was pretty good too
