Bongo's or Djembe

Im looking for some sort of precussion to go with acoustic guitars, Im a bassist but its not the best thing to accompany acoustic guitars esp without an amp.

I have tried both and can afford either, Im just not sure which to go with....
Any suggestions?

I've always much rather preferred a Djembe, but they're not half as portable as bongo's.

I'd prefer a djembe too, or congas. I'm not really a bongo fan.

I have seen a lot of blood on other people's Djembes.
