Not many stores put high end Basses on display here. It is too hard on the instruments. You will find the usual collection at Daddy's, across the street from Berklee School on Massachusetts Av. GC about 1/2 mile west of there, across The Fens on Boyleston Street has a few (look high up on the wall). Mr Music on Harvard St between Commonwealth & Brighton Av (ask Tom if he has anything set aside for online sales). There are a few more stores in Cambridge & Somerville. All are accessible by public transit. There are still more stores in the suburbs South, North & West. I don't know what they have on hand.

FWIW, the Stambaugh factory is in Alton NH, at the Southern end of Lake Winippesaukee. The Lake is a nice side trip this time of year, too.
