Bottom of my forearm pains

Sign in to disble this ad
So I just had three days straight of 6 hour long rehearsals and the bottom side of my forearm is killing me... not so much on its own, but if I put any pressure on it and rotate the wrist. It also hurts if I attempt slapping/popping.

I`ve never had this happen before and I`ve been told I have great posture, so I don`t know what`s up.

Anyways, has this ever happened to any of you before? What would you suggest I do to heal(besides time)? And what might you suggest to possibly prevent this from ever happening again?

*** Sorry if this is the wrong forum ***

Have you ever had 3 straight days of 6-hour rehearsals before? If not, it's probably just your body recovering to a good ass kicking. It should make you stronger and give you more stamina...embrace the burn!

Haha, point very well taken!

I`ve never had that hard of a rehearsal before (let alone for three days straight!), but I`m actually surprised at how much it kicked my ass. For 3 years back in high school I would play upright bass for wind ensemble and immediately afterwards go to electric for jazz band for a total of 3 hours striaght playing; and twice a week we had after school practice which would add on another 2 hours of upright playing, and then I`d go home and play electric for another x number of hours.

After being able to do all that stuff not even more than 2 years ago I`m just surprised that I couldn`t handle it, and I`m kinda worried that I`ve hurt myself in a very bad way and I don`t even know it.

Hopefully it was just a good ass kicking though!

speaking of ass kickings....

You should be fine. My right index finger is f***** up. It'll be 3 weeks this wednesday from my incident, but I have had 2 gigs in this time, so no chance to recover.

I just graduated HS and this fall I'm doing Air force. A week before school got out, some emo kid stole my monster cable and then thought he would fight me. I guess because I am a straight male and do not dress like a woman he hates me.

Anyway, he threw a punch so I knocked his lights out, a direct shot in the jaw. I got my cable back, was hailed a hero, and got into a shitton of trouble, but my woods teacher got me out of a lot of it. (the emo had to wear makeup to graduation, but then again, he probably would've anyway!) I've worked since the 7th grade and saved since then, so all of my gear was paid for by me. Moral of the story, don't mess with other people's stuff. That emo hasn't paid for a thing in his life (thanks to his parents) so he did something stupid and got an american a$$ kicking.

Try to rest your forearm, I keep reinjuring my hand, but I keep playing. Just try to rest.
