BB lyrics come from Benjamin not anyone else. He came up with the name and logo as far as the law is concerened BB is a brand. Well if BB is a brand who helped make it a brand sure Aaron helped alot so did numerous other people but, who writes the lyrics? You can have awesome solos and drum fills and drum rolls and basslines and more but, to get radio coverage you need lyrics.
Benjamin supplies those lyrics IMO the songwriter is the vital organs of a band, the singer the voice, followed by the bass the heartbeat, the guitars the muscles and the drums acting as the arms and legs. Face it if your band doesn't have a good lyricist muchless a good singer your band is fish food in a ocean full of sharks.
Feel free to disagree on the order of importance I have but, you have to admit this. Without good lyrics you are dead and that makes the songwritter (Benjamin) very important.
P.S. Ben didn't fire the whole band he fired the ones who betrayed him Aaron and Mark.
Besides they deserved it. Also Ben may not have written all the MUSIC but, with good lyrics your halfway there.
