Budget Music Videos

Is anyone else making home/budget music videos?

Here are a few I made recently:

http://tbxv.SoundDepartmentBand.com/

These videos were made using:

- $115 kodak HD palmcorder (amazon)
- $31 10x20 green screen (ebay)
- $90 work lights (6 x 500 watt, Home Depot)

I guess u could use one of the video editors that come with Mac or PC (with chroma key hack), i used a friend's Adobe Premiere.

Audio went in to an 8 track HD recorder, later mixed and edited in Reaper. I'm thinking of buying an Alesis Multimix 16. syncing audio track to video was easy.

I'd like to hear about techniques you are using for both creation, and marketing using video.

I also recorded last jam with 3 cameras, 1 HD and 2 SD, will learn about multi camera editing soon.

show your videos here!

Ive been trying to get into doing this for some time now. My problem - I dont have my own computer at the moment. And everytime I have cash put away to get one something comes up and I have to use it for something else. I bought myself a Canon FS100, great little camera! I'll probably be getting my computer by next spring at the latest and finally begin on my endeavor. I made a pretty awesome short film for a college class (Mass Media & Society) that got my whole group an A+ in that class! Funny thing is, I didnt have a USB connection for that camera, so I used a webcam to film the flip out video screen. No audio, so I made still frames and inserted subtitles. Everything fell apart but I pulled it together. One of the proudest moments of my life, and I had so much fun doing it!
