Building Chord Chart/Sheet Music Collection

Sign in to disble this ad
Hey TB,

I've been starting to learn songs now to build a list of songs I can play. I want to build an organized collection of sheet music or chord charts.

What are some ways you do this, or would suggest for me? If it's completely worth it to just buy them instead of making my own, I might do that instead later on. If there is a certain way you guys do it that works well, that's great too.

Thanks in advance!

-Don

Also, any tips on keeping it organized or anything in general are welcome.

This would be some great info to get for us 'learners'.

...or maybe just a direction to turn - not finding a whole lot of info on chord charts for songs...

your local used book will have geetar rags that come with transcriptions.......for chord reference here's what i did.....i drew 12 fret neck diagrams on loose leaf, one line per string, and circled the chord notes, and labeled them r 3 5 7.....i used a different color for each shape and where they overlapped i divided the circle in half for each color.....it only works if you sit down and work them out yourself

I think he means song chord charts, not chord fingering charts. If I'm incorrect and he means the latter, I have a bunch of them here:

Yeah, I meant the [edit]song[/edit] chord charts, although the chord fingering charts are helpful too
