Bummed. Breaking up is hard to do...

Had to drop out of my new band today. Was digging it, but the tone was changing from 'weekend warrior' to 'let's make money'. Which is fine; everybody's gotta do what they do. I just don't have the time or desire to be in another cover band.

Sucks. But, I can plays me some true blues grooves.

If it didn't work out, it didn't work out
I'm sure something better will come along for you soon

It's hard, but just have to move on and find something that fits better with what you hope to get out of it. Money is nice, but it should not be all about it.

Being bummed for a little while is much better than being bored/frustrated/unhappy with the project for an extended period of time.

Yup, happiness is key, especially if not reliant on gigging for an income.
