To buy or not to buy

Alright, here's the gear I already have:
Fender Pink Paisley '54 Reissue P-Bass
Warwick Corvette Standard 4-string with Hipshot X-Tender Key
Yamaha TRB1006 (don't play it much because it's signed by Billy Sheehan and Marcus Miller)
EKO Acoustic/Electric Bass with jack not working. Probably not going to fix it cause I have no use to. Never play it live anyways, just used for practicing or jamming with friends.
ERGO 4-string EUB

EBS HD350 Head
EBS Neo Pro 4x10 Cab
Small 30 Hartke Combo (for practicing)

I've been thinking about getting a StingRay 5, Single Humbucker, Maple Neck. Should I save up for it and buy it or should no?

Not sure if you really need one or not, I love 5 strings much more than anything else so I'm inclined towards the yes....

Anyway, I wanted to let you know that apparently MusicMan prices are going up 200$ if you want to buy new, you migth want to check basscentral because they're keeping old price on existing stock (just got an email where they mention they have 150 MM articles on stock). There's also a live 2nd hand market for SR

Good luck, Paolo

Yeah, I've been talking to Beaver, but the thing is they may be gone one day. I'm kinda picky on the colors I want. It's going to take me another 2-3 months to save up for one anyways, if I get the job I applied for. If I don't get a job soon, not only will I not have money, I'll also go CrAZy.

Are you nuts? You should always buy more gear. If it's a bass you want get it. Of course this advise is only usefull if you arent married.

Go for it.

I have my own poll going on trying to decide the color for my next stingray. The more the merrier. Whatever makes you happy.

Stingray fives are awesome. Very nice B string. Though I prefer the look of rosewood myself.

I am actually not so sure if I need the StingRay anymore. I'm getting a great slap sound (tight and crisp) out of my Pink Paisley Fender P-Bass.

I'd still love to have a StingRay5, but it's either a StingRay5 or some stuff for my pickup truck.
