Buying/renting a bass in Kuala Lumpur, MY

Dear TBers,

I'm an American who will be visiting in-laws in KL for a few weeks. Rather than bringing my own bass with me, I decided to rent or buy / return for the duration of my trip. Any ideas as to what guitar shops, if any, might do rentals for a 5 string? And if I need to buy, what stores do people recommend, and has anyone tried buying and then returning + restocking fee? I'll be in central KL near Bukit Bintang.
