Question Bypassing rack tuners

Sign in to disble this ad
Just curious, those of you who use a rack tuner, do you bypass the unit while playing or not? And if you don't bypass, have there been any ill effect doing so?

As my tuner's built into my preamp, it'd be a little difficult to bypass it.

Presuming your equipment is working properly, if you drive your tuner from a dedicated "tuner out" or similar, there shouldn't be any issues.

I use a separate out to the tuner.

+1....not sure if leaving the tuner in the signal chain would alter the tone (or create another possible buzz), but I'd rather not have it in the chain just in case.
