Anyone here drive a focus sedan or similar trunked vehicle? Are you able to fit a 410 in it? I want to upgrade to a 410, but I cant figure how it will fit. I am thinking maybe 2 210 with one in the back seat and the other riding shotgun
Thanks.

I have a 410 and a 2001 jetta. There is not a hole in the car big enough to fit the cab thru. That's what my F-150's for.

I fit my bag end 4x10 in my 2 door '91 bmw 3 series coupe... I was completely surprised I was able to get it in and take it to a show when I first got the cab.
It had to go in the reclined front passenger seat, upside down tipped back so its casters were sticking up. Same seat my 210 had to sit in. **** happened and that car was wrecked by a careless driver and now I have a volvo station wagon and a vw rabbit pickup, much much better for carrying gear after all those years with the 2 door coupe I'm happy to report.

I've gotten my 2 410's in the back of my mother in law's chevy corsica, although me and my passenger sacrificed knee room. I usually turn one cab (on the passenger side) sideways so that narrowest part of the cab is perpendicular to the seat itself. (if that makes sense, picture lakland's photo, but only half and turned 90 degrees) that frees up enough space on the rest of the seat to fit the other 410.

Lakland, I'm amazed your rear door opens up enough to slide that thing in. My rears doors do not open as fully as the front doors. I suppose my only option is to drive up to GC and tell them I'll buy it if they can fit it in my car?

I drive a 2008 two door Chevy Colbolt, either a Bergie AE410 or a Epifani UL 410 fit in the back seat no problem.

I fit a 5150 4x12 cab in the back seat of a 2000 Mustang. Had a witch of a time getting it out, but I got it in. Friend of mine puts his Ampeg 610 in the front seat of his Dodge Neon.

Berg HT-322, 6 space rack, jazz bass & P-bass in hard cases, backpack with extra cables, 2 guitar stands, and sometimes a suit in my Mazda 3. Oh yeah... and 2 car seats in the back seat as well . I guess I could take those out, but that sounds like work.

I have a Yorkville 410b cab and a Gator 4-space rack sitting in the back seat of my Sunfire right now, eagerly awaiting jam tonight.

Interesting thread. I wanted to start a thread to talk about my car shopping adventures but I'll just add to this one instead.

I was looking for a small economy car basically to get me to work and back. I was considering the Mazda3, Honda Civic, Toyota Corolla, Ford Focus, or Chevy Cobalt. Initially trunk space was not a concern but after looking at a few cars I wondered if my Ampeg BA500 would fit in the trunk. I also have two boys that play hockey and hockey bags are quite big. So I had to restart my search for a new car lugging my combo and a hockey bag to every dealer I went to. Trunk space became a priority. I would ask the salesman at each dealership to help me load the combo into the trunk. None of the cars were able to fit my amp in the trunk (they were all sedans). I had my heart set on the Mazda3 sedan which was the worst of the bunch. I couldn't even get it through the opening of the trunk. I then realized that I would have to look at a hatchback instead. I curently own a Hyundai Elantra hatchback and the trunk on this car would easily hold my amp in the trunk with the back seats up and the trunk lid in place. I ended up buying the Mazda3 hatchback. It's a tighter squeeze but it fits.

I had a friend who took his Mesa-Boogie Roadready 2x15 cab along with him carshopping and ended up finding a car that could fit it in the back seat.

I've owned a number of sedans and have always been able to fit 410s in them. However, I've always played (relatively) shallow cabs, usually no deeper than 16.5". With that said, in my experience, the interior of your passenger doors usually do end up with some scars.

there are a lot of guys here that would recommend a pair of 2x10's in a vertical array for reasons other than a lack of space for a 4x10 in your car....

this might get more attention in the amp forum
