I saw them tonight, first show of the reunion tour. The new singer reminds me of Bon Scott or Ronny James Dio. McCartney was phenomenal as always, I'm convinced what separates the good guitarist from the greats is vibrato, and McCartney is one of the greats, no doubt. Bogert played a six string and I couldn't Identify it ( he endorses MTD ) but it didn't look like any MTD I've ever seen. Bogert laid a nasty solo down, a great rock bass solo. And Apice is the man, maybe the best Rock and Roll drummer alive. It's been a long time since I've been to a real Rock and Roll show.

A great under rated band.
And Jim McCarthy is the real deal.

Well Rusty Day the original singer died years ago in a drug deal gone bad (82). The new singer is Jimmy Kunes formerly of Savoy Brown and he's the real deal.

Right on. I dig Cactus but don't know their history.

I'd see 'em if they came around.
