Got to see Cake on Sunday at Stubb's in ATX. They sounded very good and were tight as hell. That bassist of their's is fantastic and his white Fender Jazz looked really nice. The trumpet player rips. It was cold and wet but that was nothing a few hot cocos and Jamison couldn't fix. It was a good time.

Very cool! One of the more interesting bands out there today, I think.

You would be correct to think that.

One of the first songs I learned was "I will survive."

I'm pretty sure that they have many more dates in the US in the next few months. You and everyone you know should go see them.

I seen them live a couple years back. I remember growing up listening to their more popular stuff on the radio. They put on a really good show.

Saw them a couple of years back. They had a potted tree on stage, which they gave to the oldest audience member (the winner was 78 at the show I was at). Made me want a vibraslap.

Later
