Called in for bass

So I've been really ridiculously busy lately. Summer vacations are happening at work (I work part-time, so no vacation time for me) and so I've been covering shifts for a couple weeks. Then, all weekend I helped my elderly father frame and roof a new shed. All this added to the fact that I have a house, a wife, and three pets to look after means that I haven't gotten to sit down alone and really crank up the ol' Ampeg in about a week.

It ends today. I called in to have a bass day. Just me and my other significant other, all damn day.

Everybody deserves a break from time to time. And I can only think of one thing I'd do different than have a bass day. I'd add a pianist or guitarist to the mix and make it a duo day. Either way, it's a ggod idea. Have fun.

My guitarist is coming over this evening to flesh out some incomplete songs on the acoustics. It is a good idea.
