I was recently loaned a nice little Gretsch Kit and am whating to understand drums a little more. Anyone know of any good sites....

The Pearl forum is okay if you stay out of the chit-chat area.

I don't know if it's still around, but the drummercafe was pretty good once upon a time...a tad uninviting, but informative.

drumsmylife.com, the guys on that forum are some of the nicest people I've ever talked to, and they are also EXTREMELY helpful.

Another vote for Drummerworld.com Very well put together site. Not as active as TB.

I think it would be cool if TB did Bassist bios, but no - I don't want the gig
