I realize that what he is doing is really really difficult and is truly masterful. But to me, it just sounds like noise. Not very musical. I was bored by it.

Everyone commenting the video does not feel that way. I was just looking to see how everyone felt about that particular piece of music.

He's very skilled, but could stand a lesson or two from Dave Koz on stage presence. BTW, that's Bill "Rubber Hand Man" Sharpe on bass, with his big ol' Tyler bass. Tony Maiden of Rufus/Chaka Kahn on guitar. If you get a chance to see Koz, do it. It's a very entertaining show.

You got me expecting something like this: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JboA9PumtDY . Frankly, I don't have any idea where you're coming from on that clip. It just sounds like some fairly average music to me (in terms of style, not execution -- it's very well played).

he has killer tone. its my ideal tenor tone.

Yeah, me too. That Sun Ra thingy really blows.

My dad showed me that very video a few days ago...wow. He's been on a huge Dave Koz kick lately. Bought 4 of his cds in the past month, probably. Koz is really a great showman.
