I live in Pickering Ontario, and I'm 19
I play mostly metal, all different kinds right from the old classic stuff like Black Sabbath to modern metal in my melodic death metal band. I can't get enough of jamming to Iron Maiden, Steve Harris is the god of metal bass playing in my opinion, gotta love when every song has a kick ass bass line.
I have two basses, a Yamaha BB604 in wine red finish and a Schecter Hellraiser Extreme in see thru black satin with quilted maple top. My amps are Hartke Kilo with Hydrive 4x10 cabinets, Fender Rumble 100, and a Crate BT25.
Number please and here are my basses:

Born and raised here, I started playing bass in 1969 when I was 16. "Ah, but I was so much older then, I'm younger than that now" So now I am back on the Island, retired, and have recently picked up the bass once again I am comfortable playing blues and classic rock... nothing flashy, just try to play a good solid bottom end All of my basses have 4 strings and narrow necks, because that is the way I like them... definitely a J-Bass man all the way

Of course they are all Canadians now

Brent from Whitby here, I am 44 and I basically play everything. My gigs are mostly classic rock, '80's covers and just about everything else from metal to blues.
I have downsized my gear considerably this year and am pretty much only gigging Fodera, Bergantino cabs and Jule Amp Monique amps.
Go Leafs go!

Mitch, Regina SK. I play in a band called The Peanut Butter Genocide. Our music is kind of psychedelic rock.
I used to play metal a few years back so I got into modding Squiers, I wanted a cheap bass to take with me into the mosh pit. Anyways still playing and loving modded squier basses. Recently just made the switch from Ampeg to GK and loving the new tones. |
