wow i got 3rd degree burns on my palm and will not be able to play for while.TB will have to be my inspiration for awhile.can I start a 'lurking club'? LOL BUMMED ON THE BAY

ouch! Sucks.

I once get a 2nd degree burn on my left hand palm. Can't imagine 3rd degree - good luck w your recovery.

thanks for the dr bonner idea.I think we will check it out after I see the plastic surgen this week.many trips to the hospital it seems.and I am a bit of a big baby.....at least that's what the wife tells people lol.thanks for the kind words the drugs are kicking in now got to lay down now

Sorry to hear this. I burned my whole left hand cooking with hot grease when I was a kid and the school nurse pressure wrapped it with Vitamin A & D ointment. The main ingredient in that is cod liver oil. I wound up with blisters all over my fingers but no scarring... Oh yeah, and I know the pain yer goin' thru. Hang in there. You'll be OK enuff to play soon. )-(

back up again. the morphine keeps puttin me down. good thing i guess. i spilled a pot of melted suger over my palm. was making valentine candy.that suger stuck to me like super glue, ice water broke it up. they cut my wedding ring off at the hospital with a dremel.that nurse i think never did it before she had me squirming all over the gurney.and sure enough she cut me.f.....k what a night.i hadn't had morphine since vietnam in 68 still makes me puke.thanks for the kind words and encouragement you guys are the best.TB rocks!

Sorry hear that! I know how bad it can be when you can't play. I broke my fretting hand in half when a car hood slipped and fell on it compound break (bone came through the skin) shatter my pinky knuckle I was in a cast and couldn't play for 6-8 months I was crazy. Hang in there and let us know how you are making out. I feel for you man.

Hot Dang...!!! Yeah....wow. What a night alright. Morphine don't make me puke until I have to get off it...lol I'd a puked from the pain, prolly. That's some serious heat. Can you move yer fingers at all? Will you need plastic surgery...? What did you do in Nam? I guess I don't need to tell you that you made it thru there you can make it thru anything. Just do the best you can everyday and you'll be fine. Peace )-(

That's a nightmare, dude. Time to work on your double big toe kick slap technique.

Used to be a band in Atlanta called the Out a Hand Band. Bass player had one hand. Fretted with the left hand an hit the strings with his right nub at the wrist. Good player.

nutdog that's encouraging at least my trigger finger is still good to go.well plastic surgery appointment is Thursday,I am hopeful that I will be back in action soon.
