...to play my bass! Saw the pics of guys playing at the top of the page, and the urge hit me. Plus, we have practice tonight. Woohoo!! Does it ever hit you like that? Sometimes when at home it hits me when I'm doing something else, or just sitting watching TV. Gotta go play music. When I was a kid it was like that, too. I think it's the very reason I learned to play. HAD TO!! Recently, I met an old friend who says he hasn't been playing for years. I'm like, how can you NOT play? It's a hunger to me, more than just desire, it's almost a sickness. I remember sitting on my Mama's lap banging the piano. At 13 came guitar and clarinet. At 15, bass. Can't get enough.
I know some of yas feel the same way. Ain't it great?!

Yeah I play my bass everyday. sometimes I pick it up in the morning before heading out to the office. started at 9 yrs old 53 now that is a long time to be itching lol

Had to play my Jazz for an hour before getting started. Couldn't control it, nope.
Sick, I tell ya. Been sick for 61 years.
