Never was a big Carcass fan. I like Mike Amott's playing in Arch Enemy a lot more. Still, "Black Star" is one awesome song.

Ughhhh, dude.. "Black Star" is from by far their worst album...the Heartwork record is like that one but with much much much better production, songwriting and guitar interplay. Please give it a chance if you dig Amott, he didn't even play on Swansong, the record "Black Star" comes from.

I had about six or seven other songs a few years back, but never digged them. I'll download some more and see if I like them this time round.

My brother told me this today. Cool news indeed!! I won't be there, but I'd love to see professionally shot footage of their entire set.

Heartwork is a high point as far as metal goes. The last time I saw Carcass was when I was watching Red Dwarf!

Man, I hope they are planning a world tour after this. Here's to hoping anyway. They are extremely influential both my bass and guitar playing.
