Carvin Customer Service

The output jack on my Carvin bass went out on me, so I ordered a new one from the Carvin website. It arrived yesterday, so I took it to my tech last night to install and I ordered the wrong part. I ordered a jack for a passive bass and I needed the one for an active bass - which isn't listed on the site, btw.

Called Carvin today and they're sending me the one I need at no charge and he's going to expedite shipping in the hopes that it will be here tomorrow so I can get it in the bass before my gig tomorrow night. May not make it, but the fact that he's going to that much effort to ship me a free part on a 10-year-old bass I purchased used speaks volumes.

Yep. I only have good things to say about Carvin. Great people and good products at a fair price.

I don't think I've ever seen anything bad about Carvin's customer service. Nice to know your experience though. I've owned a DCM1500 for about 3 years that's seen a good amount of use with never any need to contact custserv.

Nice! It's always great to see companies that go out of their way to help players of their instruments regardless if they are the original owner or not.

I've got a Carvin bass and also buy ancillary stuff from them. They don't mess up very often, but when they do, they step up and provide a quick fix.

That's why I love living 5 minutes away from a Carvin factory/shop. I've even brought in some of my other brand guitars for setups/problem diagnosis and they've helped me enormously!

5 stars for Carvin customer service!
