Catalog misprint

So I got the holiday issue of MF. Of course I look through every page and I come across this pedal I've been wanting. It's a footswitch that goes with my looper.
Well it's advertised in a bubble above the looper pedal stating that the footswitch comes free if you buy the looper. And right under it it says "MSRP $30!".

I'm like, "WHAAAT?! It usually goes for $50!".
So I call them up and they shatter my dream and tell me their real selling price. They apologize for the misprint.

Boo.

So I start thinking, hmm... maybe some sucker at Guitar Center will match this advertised price.

Sure enough I go in there, show them the catalog and they go for it. SCORE! They even beat the "advertised" price.

So I got my little footswitch for half off.

And that my fellow bass players, was my Christmas miracle.
