Catharses

I wanted to share one of my current music projects on here. I will post updates and all that jazz as well. Check us out at Catharses! Link in my sig.
This is a death/prog metal band with avant-garde influences as well. There are a few practice videos on the downloads page. Nothing professional, just fun. Thanks for looking! -Luke

Pretty cool stuff, I like it.

I see you doing keyboard duty over there, are you thinking of getting someone to do it full time, or will you continue to do both?

Edit: Is the guy in the #8 jersey running the board or something?

Yes, we are looking for a full-time keyboardist and another full-time guitarist. We're just being selective in who we bring in. Yes, number 8 is Nate our sound engineer. He just received a degree in recording arts from a place in Canada. Pacman, we used the plural form of catharsis applying to all of us. We get asked that a lot, lol. -Luke

For the metal lovers...

Thought I'd share a lil of the Catharses music project. New additional band members, new music and a fresh new look to the website. Check out the link in my signature. There is a demo video in the downloads section. Just a clip from a practice session, nothing formal. -Luke

Considering that "catharsis" is an abstract noun I'm not really sure that it makes sense to pluralize it. Then again I'm sure there's already another band (or twenty--metal bands tend to draw from a pretty small pool of words when naming themselves) out there calling itself "Catharsis" so it probably makes sense from a search-engine perspective.

I really don't care about the name of the band, nor did I name it. This is a side project of mine. I don't normally play metal. I'm not 17, I'm a seasoned musician. Please direct your offense elsewhere. Or at least fill out your profile first. -Luke
