I'm trying to find a chapman stick, because I've been interested in them for a while, but I can't seem to find them on the internet. Where are they?

Try www.stickist.com. There are always a couple for sale there. Do a national CL search. I have bought three of them using one of those ways. Learning curve kicked my butt and I sold them though...

Where'd you get your stick? Buy it used? I've been searching around and came up with nothing.

Ebay although they hold their value quite well.
Another spot to check is Tapistry.
Happy tapping to you.

I spoke to Emmett Chapman around the late '70's...I was making phone calls to celebs.....FZ was unlisted!....operator said "your kidding me right?"

Anyway ? for NFA.... how do you do a national search on CL...I've tried, but fail to see how to do it. THX

There are a couple of Craigslist search engines. Google it and you will find one.

Thanks, TB is the best!
Happy Thanksgiving Day to you and all of TB.

I've been on vacation all week in Savannah, GA, from MI. Very nice place for a trip.

Back to Sticks...I wanted at one point in my life.....but, really, I don't think I have the dexterity for it. Love the sound of it tho!

A quick search turned up one in Michigan and North Carolina, using a CL search engine. The one in North Carolina seems priced about right. The one in Michigan seems high to me...

I have always wanted to play a Stick - it just seemed the coolest instrument ever. Saw a great stickist playing in a square in Nice, France last month. Very cool.

Good luck with your search.
