Chat session with Ingrid Pastorius and Michiel Borstlap on June 30
The Joe Zawinul Unofficial Italian Fans Website has scheduled a live chat session in which two special guest will be present.
The first one is Ingrid Pastorius, wife of Jaco Pastorius, the bass player who revolutionize the history of the electric bass, and of the music in general, unfortunately disappeared in tragical circumstances in 1987.
The second special guest is Michiel Borstlap, currently the most appreciated Dutch jazz piano player, author of "Body Acoustic", an acoustic interpretation of Weather Report music (Weather Report were the most famous jazz-rock band, in which Jaco Pastorius played from 1976 to 1982).
A lot of users from all over the World will participate in this chat session; it will be a wonderful opportunity for sharing experiences and ideas, and for talking personally with the special guests, who have been involved directly in Jaco's history/music.
