i wanna hear about the best deals you ever got on basses, simply put. I'm actually about to be in a pretty good situation myself, getting a five string for 80 bucks (ibanez, sounds good tho). well, lets hear it! post pics if you want

Well, I bought a slightly used MIM P for only $100. Sadly, I sold that bass. But I also bought a Schecter Model T, slightly used, for $165.

The two best deals on basses I got were a Dean Rhapsody 8 for $230 (usually costs $600, I believe), and a Bradley Steinberger copy for $75. But the most primo deal I ever got was a 1966 Ampeg B-15N amp/speaker for $150 about 7 years ago. It's pretty beaten up and a bit rusty, but dang, I love that amp!

lol as much as i don't really wanna go five string, for a while it's been looking like the answer if i ever got a guitarist in the band, i want an extra high string (lol i'ma songwriter, nto a supporter.
