Whoa! What impressed me the most is his (musical) maturity. This boy sounds like a seasoned pro and the arrangement is pretty cool. Truly awesome!

I think it's been posted here before, regardless.... PROOF that not all "shred" guitar is musical nonsense... all you have to do is cover classical songs.

Very impressive.

I seen this one before. I showed the video to a friend that has been playing classical and flemenko style guitar for 32 yrs and he was stunned. He also loved the kids technique and tone. He did pick up on 2 mistakes in the classical piece but also said the kid is a genius if he arranged the piece that way. He also said that even if he didnt, there is no limit to the amount of potential the kid has.

It's become pretty fashionable to do Canon in D on guitar.

Though I will be honest, I saw the Jerry C one first. Still, very impressive.

Wow, not bad at all.

Still... I couldn't listen to that for more than 5 mins.. Didn't even watch more than a minute of the one marcus posted, too much for me, lol.

Darn and I thought this would be another repost of that black kid on the drums.

Yeah, I saw the Jerry C one first, too. It's much more polished and expressive than this one in the thread. He also doesn't have that pinky outstretched habit thing.

Check THIS kid out. Met him at NAMM and watched him perform. Made me want to quit music. Check out summer song. And it's on a fretless guitar (I think) - my computer won't download the vid for some reason.
