I didn't.
I guess for a couple reasons: one, I've determined that I'm just not that keen on Sammy Hagar. I quit buying Van Halen records right after 5150 as well.
Secondly, there's nothing on this Chickenfoot album that Giant didn't do better 15+ years ago. YouTube: Giant Live in the Studio
IMHO, YMMV

I really want Chickenfoot to succeed if for no other reason than Chad Smith. He is one of my top 5 favorite drummers (that's not dead) and on top of that I cannot find a single bad word that has been said about him as a person. |
