Chris Rea's Bassist?

Sign in to disble this ad
Just wondering who Chris Rea's 2010 tour bassist is. Just heard back from family who saw a live show of his a few days ago and they were practically raving over the bassist's style and sound.

Bless my mum: "it had five strings and a little bendy bit on the...anchor - no - bridge? that the guitar uses to make the guitar go *waaah wah wah*...but he really did make it sing"

I'll scour youtube once I'm out of university (talkbass-procrastination, wahey) but quite intrigued as he must have been something special for those guys to have noticed him.

No luck on his website either. Any ideas at all?
