I just recently started going to a church that does a lot of the new Hillsong stuff, as well as songs from the United CDs. It's a pretty progressive church, musically. Preaching/teaching is as good as it gets though. I'm looking forward to January when they'll start putting me into the worship team rotation.
Anyway, just wondered if any others on this forum do the United stuff? I ask this because, compared to my former church, there is a whole new skill set that is needed for many of the songs heard on the United CDs. My other church DID do some Hillsong stuff, but the "older stuff", and what we did was similar in style to what I had always done.

There is much more of an air of worship there then in my previous church. How about yours? |

But I know what you mean. At my previous church, I'd never know (from one Sunday to the next) if we would be doing more contemporary stuff, or "high church" type stuff. This church I'm going to now is pretty regiment in the songs they do, so you really can get into it. |

I haven't yet started to play any of these songs for a service yet, but I've practiced them A LOT! I'll just post a few of the songs we are doing:
