| Classical practice for bass & violin

I'm looking for suggestions on a short and simple classical piece that I can play bass and violin on. Something other than Pachebel's Canon, that is. I know that it's an odd request, but it'll give me something to work on over the summer break.
I'm looking at a couple of things like Beethoven's Minuet in G and one by Mozart. I think that a gavotte or waltz would work since they have a definite rhythm to them.
I'm open to other suggestions. It doesn't have to have a bass accompaniment to it. Cello would work. Or even piano since I'd like to get some practice at finding the chords and building a bass line.
Just has to be something that someone working through the second year of Suzuki could play on the violin. |
