Click Track Help

Sign in to disble this ad
I'm looking for help with a click track that will allow programming of a song set, with a footswitch control to start and stop the click, and footswitch or single button control to advance to the next song in a set. Sometimes our songs vary in length so we can't be restricted to measure count in a chain.

Does anyone know of such a beast? We use this for video synchronization etc. Currently we are using a Boss DR-670.

Thanks for any help,

Al

in a band I was in previously we used to dump all the clicks to DAT...the drummer operated the dat with a footswitch. We would program 15 or 20 mins of one tempo, then just turn it on and off.

The DAT idea is what I'd suggest, except I'd either make mp3s or burn a CD of it and take that along.

You could also get a MIDI sequencer and program all of your stuff into that, but what a pain.

To "program" it, just record a metronome for 10 minutes.
