i heard a rumor they may be closing pandora.com

this sucks. it's a great way to find music. the great thing is you can bookmark songs as they are playing. then later go into your account under bookmarked songs and buy them in itunes with one click of a button.

i found A LOT of new music this way.

but then again i'm an asshat. what do i know.....

Holy Crap NO!!!! That's one of my favoritest websites ever...a vast, useful resource... this makes me terribly sad. Between Pandora, Sirius and Lastfm.com I have no other outlets to explore new interesting music, barring word of mouth....please say it isn't so.

Seriously, I've found more music in the past month of using pandora than I have in the past 5 years!

yeah they are. if you are a member they sent Email's to send to your congressmen and women to try and fight the ruling against jacking up the royalties again. the ruling lost (i sent the emails to my politicians and they sent back saying it's over they can't do anything now). it sucks.

i found so many cool bands on that site.

The ruling doesn't just affect Pandora, it affects all Internet Radio stations.

Yep, kind of sucks. Here's the article:
Internet radio broadcasters dealt setback

Just goes to show that money talks, and those now-huge corporations that run radio have lots of it.
