I think they copied it! On X and Y they "stole" the melody for "Talk" from Kraftwerk but of course Kraftwerk got paid for it. Makes me wonder how far they will go for a melody. IMHO their new CD sounds like they just threw it together because of contractual obligations whereas Xand Y was inspirational. Satch is owed some coldplay hard cash!
